Sandeep J. Agate - President and CEO

Sandeep Agate is the President and CEO of Krixi Corp. and is responsible for the company's overall vision, mission and execution of its corporate strategy.  

With over 15 years of entrepreneurial experience in healthcare and cloud based services, Sandeep was the founding President and CEO of REACH Call, Inc., now REACH Health.  Sandeep, along with most of the Krixi leadership, successfully built the first ever commercial cloud-based telemedicine and telestroke service in the United States, creating 25+ telemedicine networks of 110+ hospitals in 9 States in the USA in just 3+ years.  Bootstrapping the company for the first couple of years and then raising funding to execute the growth strategy of the company, Sandeep was responsible for creating a debt-free, profitable, high-growth telemedicine and telestroke company, leading to its successful acquisition by a growth equity venture group in 2010.  Under Sandeep's leadership, the company won the first ever Atlanta based GRA/TAG Business Launch competitiion in 2006 and was recognized as the Top 40 innovative and fast-growing technology companies of Georgia for each year that Sandeep was the President/CEO. 

 

Sandeep has served on the Board of Directors of REACH Call, on the advisory boards of Telehealth Magazine and 2 startup companies in Georgia.  He has also co-authored and published a paper on the "National Rollout of the First Commercial Web based Telemedicine and Telestroke System" and presented it at the Montreal Telehealth Conference in May 2007.  Sandeep holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from Kent State Univerisity.


Amarish D. Khopkar - Chief Technology Officer

Amarish Khopkar is the Chief Technology Officer of Krixi Corp. and is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of product design and development at Krixi.  

Amarish brings with him over a decade of experience in the field of software engineering.  Most recently, he was was the founding CTO at REACH Call, Inc., now REACH Health, where we designed, developed and supported the first ever commercial cloud based telemedicine and telestroke service platform.  Amarish has managed the complete software development lifecycle of 2 generations of the telemedicine and telestroke services, which have been used by physicians to securely and remotely treat thousands of patients in the United States since 2006.  He has leveraged best-in-class technology components to create efficient, secure and scalable cloud-based telemedicine services for treatment of virtually any acute medical condition. 

 

Amarish holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.


Ani J. Agate - Chief Information Officer

Aniruddha (Ani) Agate is the Chief Information Officer of Krixi Corp. and is responsible for all aspects of designing and executing the company's product deployment and support strategy.  

With over 15 years of experience in information systems, networking, telecommunications and SaaS platforms, Ani was the founding CIO of REACH Call, Inc., now REACH Health.  Ani was responsible for the design, deployment and support of the first ever commerically available cloud-based telemedicine and telestroke network infrastructure.  He led a team that successfully implemented 25+ telemedicine networks in 9 US states, including Alaska.  Creating a secure, reliable and robust infrastructure, Ani was responsible for establishing a record of 99.999% uptime over a period of 4 years.  He was also responsible for managing multi-shore network systems and customer management teams, supporting premier healthcare insitutions, hospital systems and academic medical institutions across the country. 

 

Ani holds a Bachelor of Engineering and a post graduate Diploma in Marketing, both from the University of Pune.


Daniel S. Fitzpatrick - Vice President, Sales and Marketing

Daniel (Dan) Fitzpatrick is the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Krixi Corp. and is responsible for establishing telemedicine and telestroke networks globally.  

Dan has more than 25 years of healthcare business development experience. He has held leadership positions in North American healthcare technology companies, where he gained extensive experience in building and managing sales groups. He was also the founder of Fitzpatrick Findings, a healthcare sales operations consultancy for healthcare technology companies, and a founding partner and Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Flo Healthcare, an Emerson company. Dan's vision of developing a dominating market presence for comprehensive wireless technology solutions for the healthcare market - including wireless infrastructure, support services and mobile clinical workstations - helped position Flo Healthcare as the leader in wireless mobile workstations. Dan played a key role in developing and launching multiple tele-healthcare projects across the US for Sprint Healthcare Solutions and has held key sales, marketing and business development positions with healthcare IT companies such as Tremont Medical, Logistix, Omnicell, Stanley Innerspace, Artromick, RF Technology, Optimed and Vasomedical. 

 

Dan holds a BAS from the University of Wisconsin with an emphasis on History and Economics.


Sutanu Misra, M.D. - Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Sutanu Misra is the Chief Medical Officer of Krixi Corp. and is responsible for designing and managing the clinical aspects of the company's products and services.  

At Krixi, Dr. Misra leds a clinical team that works with the product development team to design, develop and test telemedicine and telestroke service modules and ensure that the company's products are relevant to physicians and their workflow in hospitals.  Dr. Misra is also responsible for designing relevant training programs for hospitals and for working with our customers to establish effective protocols for telemedicine and telestroke care pathways.  Dr. Misra is a practicing physician at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  His practice and responsibilities include all areas of anesthesia, supervision of CRNAs as well as resident and medical student education.  Specific areas of expertise include trauma, abdominal transplantation, including liver transplantation, regional anesthesia, including single shot as well as continuous perineural catheters in adults and children.  In addition, he also practices in the areas of pediatric orthopedics and ENT, thoracic, neurosurgical anesthesia, major vascular, ambulatory, off-site anesthesia including interventional radiology, GI, CT/MRI and ambulatory anesthesia. 

 

Dr. Misra has earned his M.D. from the Ohio State University School of Medicine and Public Health, Columbus, Ohio.  He has completed his internship training at Mount Carmel Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio and his residency training from the Department of Anesthesia and Critical Care of Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts.


Varsha A. Afzalpurkar - Vice President, Healthcare Informatics

Varsha Afzalpurkar is the Vice President of Healthcare Informatics at Krixi Corp. and leads the company's product strategy for integration with various healthcare information systems, including Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.  

Varsha was the founding Director of Healthcare Informatics at REACH Call, Inc., now REACH Health, where she led the health information systems integration strategy for the product development team.  She has extensive experience in integration of cloud based telemedicine and telestroke services with EMR/EHR systems via HL-7 interfaces.  She has also designed and implemented automatic data collection, dynamic reporting, patient auto-registration, billing systems integration and event notification service capabilities, among others, in the first ever commercially available cloud based telemedicine and telestroke service in the United States. 

 

Varsha has earned a Masters of Science in Computer Science from Jackson State University.
